Image processing software that demystifies complex information.

Built entirely in Processing, The Trained Eye is a software proposal that explores astronomical image processing. Using creative computing and progressive disclosure, it speaks to the ways in which design fosters visual literacy and contributes to knowledge consumption and contribution.

It serves not only as an educational interface but also as a new research methodology that questions how non-expert perspectives can revolutionise scientific research and therefore science communication.
